Overview

Spectacular movement, created by moving dots, lines, and planes, coupled with magnificent music, guide audiences through a cosmic-level space. Allures is a development of the images created for a concert performance. Director Jordan Belson said that it took a year and a half for him to combine the images in thousands of different ways, and that this film is a work that “creates a sense of moving from matter to spirit”. (Sung MOON)

Director

Jordan BELSON

Jordan Belson(1926-2011) was an American artist and filmmaker who created non-objective, often spiritually oriented, abstract films spanning six decades. While Belson is best known for making films, he made a significant body of two-dimensional works and kinetic sculptures from the 1940s until his death in 2011. Like his films, his art brings aesthetic, spiritual, and sensual experiences to the audience, reflecting his deep interest in sacred art, cosmology and cosmogenesis.
