Early Bird Pre-Registration for 23rd JEONJU International Film Festival Opens March 22 (Tue)

· GUEST, INDUSTRY, PRESS 3.22 - 4.12, early bird pre-registration possible through the festival badge website

· Badge holders will get diverse benefits during the festival including access to screening tickets and free entry to JEONJU Dome

The 23rd JEONJU International Film Festival (JEONJU IFF, Festival Director LEE Joondong) will open its early bird pre-registration for press accreditation on Tuesday, March 22.

JEONJU IFF has offered paid badge program since 2017 to adhere to the Improper Solicitation and Graft Act, providing professional service and fair access to culture for everybody. Badge types include GUEST, INDUSTRY, and PRESS, and applications for pre-registration can be done on the 23rd JEONJU IFF’s badge website (badge.jeonjufest.kr/eng).

Registration for GUEST and INDUSTRY badges is open from March 22 (Tue) to April 12 (Tue), and with the early bird discount, it will be 70,000 won. PRESS can also register between March 22 (Tue) and April 12 (Tue), and the badge is free of charge if registered during the early bird pre-registration period. If you miss the early bird pre-registration window, all other badges can be purchased on-site after paying the registration fee.

In terms of badge benefits, GUEST, INDUSTRY, and PRESS badge holders can get up to 4 tickets per day during the festival period. They will also be given guest packages as well as the access to the Guest Center, Guest Cafes, and the Video Library. All badges will give you free access to the screenings at JEONJU Dome, access to enter JEONJU Project events, and 10% discounts on film festival goods. Under the COVID-19 regulations, the festival will not be managing wait lines this year.

Badge registration is only possible on JEONJU IFF’s badge website, and depending on the type of the badge, you will be required to provide documents of proof during the online registration. Once the documents are approved, the payment must be paid at the Guest Center within the festival period in order to complete the application.

Meanwhile, the 23rd JEONJU IFF is scheduled to be held for 10 days from April 28th (Thu) to May 7th (Sat) in and around Jeonju Film Street in Jeonju.
