Born in 1947, USA. Obtained an MFA in sculpture from?Columbia University. American experimental?performance artist, composer, musician and film director. She has published 5 books, released 7 music albums and directed 7 films and TV show. She is known for her multimedia presentations and innovative use of technology. In 2007 she received the prestigious The Dorothy and Lillian Gish Prize for her contribution to the arts.
