Visra is part of a new wave of Thai artists passionate about their individual art, but also dedicated to shaping a community of young people who teach compassion and encourage social action through their work. She is a graduate of Stanford University and will be a graduate of Tisch School of the Arts this fall. Her short films have been shown at International Film Festival Rotterdam, Tribeca Film Festival, Karlovy Vary Film Festival, and the Bangkok World Film Festival. Karaoke Girl is her first feature film.
