Life in the Great Barrier Reef, Australia, is full of perils. Marlin worries about raising his only son, Nemo, in such dangerous circumstances. On Nemo’s first day of school, Marlin follows him and nervously tries to protect him. When Nemo gets captured by a scuba diver, Marlin sets out to find his son with Dory. Nemo is placed in a fish tank in a dentist’s office, and devises a plan to escape with Gill, the leader of the Tank Gang. Meanwhile, Marlin’s brave journey to Sydney Harbour makes him famous. [#i_]Finding Nemo [_i#]is about both the father and the son. The family stories created by Disney and Pixar post-1990s show how we can help and learn from one another instead of becoming lone heroes. In the same vein as[#i_] Toy Story [_i#]and [#i_]Monsters, Inc.[_i#], the film presents a new adventure story which may seem trivial in comparison but is much more amiable. [LEE Sang-yong]
