Disney has sometimes made the animated films that are conscious of the Third World or the outside world. [#i_]Coco[_i#](2018) and [#i_]Saludos Amigos[_i#], a classic film in 1942, are examples of such works. [#i_]Mulan[_i#] is released in 1994 when the influence of China was gradually growing. Mulan is based on the character Hua Mulan in the Chinese poem ´Song of Hua Mulan´ in the 15th century. Mulan, highly regarding the nation, sexuality, and identity, plays the role of a soldier and enters the battlefield when the nation is in crisis. The model of Mulan, Hua Mulan is an example of a subjective female, and Disney has softened this legendary character. The battle scene showing the strength of female warrior is resented beyond ´children´s taste´, and the mob scene that makes us forget that it is an animated film, makes display of its overwhelming scale.
