Disney´s 18th feature animated film based on T. H. White´s novel 『The Once and Future King』. After King Uther Pendragon dies, England is in danger of division and the magical sword gets attention, which only those with honor, dignity, and inner strength could pull out. As the belief that that the man pulling the sword in the anvil would be the ruler of England is widespread, many people try to get it out. No one can remove the sword, which is soon forgotten. Years later, 12-year-old orphan Arthur accidently remove the sword. A boy who does things that adults can not do, and becomes a charismatic leader led by magical power, his adventure represents the dream of every child. [#i_]The Sword in the Stone[_i#] not only has a complicated structure, but also portrays the charm of Arthur philosophically compared to any other Disney character. [JANG Byungwon]
