[#i_]The first full-length animated feature film produced by Disney and the first case that used Technicolor in the American cinema history, based on an European classic fairy tale that a wicked Queen driven by jealousy tries to kill Snow White, who is rescued by seven dwarf miners and lives in their house. [#i_]Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs[_i#] is considered one of Disney´s best achievements under influence of the visual style of the European story book. The film, released in 1938, was not only a big box office hit, but also reinvented animated films; it was an innovation in that situation mainly featuring short animated film. The artists in Disney were affected by the masterpieces of German Expressionism, specially [#i_]Nosferatu, a Symphony of Terror[_i#](1922) and [#i_]The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari[_i#](1920) that Walt Disney recommended.
