In an untidy apartment with things, one old suitcase is moved to the living room. Luce Vigo is the daughter of the director Jean Vigo, and the trunk contains old materials about him. For a long time, Luce has overlooked these heritages. She confessed about her father who died when she was still a child: "I don´t remember when I found out my father was a filmmaker." These materials are the last traces to tell the story of Jean Vigo. [#i_]Luce, About Jean Vigo [_i#]deals with is a personal history of his family, connecting with the footage extracted from only four films he left from 1929 to 1934: [#i_]A propos de Nice[_i#](1930),[#i_] Taris[_i#](1931),[#i_] Zero for Conduct[_i#](1933), [#i_]L´Atalante[_i#](1934). Luce tells us to get rid of the romantic myth of her father. The documentary director Leila Ferault-Levy reconstructs the artist´s portrait with his personal history and the immortal films he has left. [JANG Byungwon]
