[#i_]Blue Velvet Revisited[_i#] based on documentary footage that was filmed in 1985 on the set of David Lynch´s [#i_]Blue Velvet[_i#](1986) and that was never released to the public. Peter Braatz, a young German director at the time, wrote a letter to Lynch to have an opportunity to document the entire production of the film Blue Velvet. He made a documentary with the 60 reels shot on Super 8mm film and the documents of the interview with the actors and staff. he select\ed and recomposed the film images, sound recordings, photographs and paintings that he had collected at that time. But there are neither indexical voice-over narration nor the sound in the background. [#i_]Blue Velvet Revisited [_i#]is not a commentary film for ‘[#i_]Blue Velvet[_i#] but tries to reach to what Lynch´s cult film figures by the fascinating re-interpretation. [JANG Byungwon]
