David Kim alone after losing his wife raises a daughter Margo, who disappears into thin air one day. He is struggling to find his missing daughter. Until this point, the film is like presenting a typical thriller film. But if these situations are relayed only to the computer screen, how will the film be sorted out? When David finds out what happened, his anxiety is captured only by the camera constantly showing his face in Skype, video calls, CCTV, etc. The means of storytelling are diversified, as all sorts of things are relayed in digital image. As networking technology dominates all aspects of life, many films have tried to introduce this new experience in the form of storytelling. [#i_]Searching[_i#], more evolved than previous attempts in this way of mixing storytelling (looking for missing person) and themes (searching through the network). [JANG Byungwon]
