Vivian Sung, who gained popularity with Korean audiences for her role [#i_]in Our Times[_i#](2015), returns as a high school girl once again in this story of youth and first love. In 1997, six high school friends start a band. The day before their graduation, the band’s lead singer, En-pei, finds an opportunity to take part in an audition to go to Japan. Years later, one of the band members reunites with En-pei in Japan. She doesn’t have a singing career yet but dreams of a better future. One day, he hears the news of her death and despairs. Then a strange gift from a lady he helps transports him back to the past. He sets out to stop En-pei from going to Japan, and dreams of building a new life with En-pei. But things don´t go according to his plan, and she goes for the audition again. The film is a feast of talent from Taiwan´s bright young stars. [LEE Sang-yong]
