It is worth noting that director Ko Bongsoo is the only director who is developing the ´comedy´ genre in the Korean independent film. In [#i_]Hello Dayoung [_i#]following [#i_]Delta Boys[_i#](2016) and [#i_]Loser´s Adventure[_i#](2017), Ko Bongsoo praises the life of people who have nothing to write home about but live with integrity. Deliverer Minjae is secretly in love with Dayoung who works at Samjin Corporation. But the innocence of young man is not easily compensated, waiting for a courier to be delivered to the company in order to meet her. The black-and-white silent image directly reveals [#i_]Hello Dayoung [_i#]influenced by Buster Keaton and represents, through action and gesture, the sincerity of the characters that is not conveyed in words. The simple optimism that does not evaluate life as victory or defeat is the virtue of Ko Bongsoo´s films. [JANG Byungwon]
