The film follows Hannah´s daily life slowly and densely. The repetitive close-up images and camera expression don´t give much information about her tough life easily. Minimizing that, the director tells her reality deeply painfully. The reason her husband is in jail is for paedophiliac crime. Hannah has trusted him from the first. But, people laugh at her belief in front of the court´s ruling and she is suffering from the attitude and attention of the others including her own son. This film is about the story of Hannah who reacts calmly during the rapid change. The character Charlotte Rampling acts depicts the keen side of the reality withoug any exaggerated emotional expression. The psychological portrays which mixes anger and breaking up, silence and insanity accomplishes to make emotional vein with mingling coldness and hotness. [LEE Sang-yong]
