    Nisha living in Norway has to follow Pakistani custom but is ordinary teenager who likes play and chat with friends. By the way, her boyfriend visits her house secretly but gets caught by her dad, then she is marked as a bad daughter. Her dad who put a premium on the patriarchal tradition sends her to his home country. Nisha has hard time to adjust but soon get used to the tradition. She becomes close to the cousin then like him finally. Two of them go out to the alley toghter at night get caught by police. She experieces disgraceful situation. [#i_]What Will People Say [_i#]is a suffering drama to show how Pakistani custom suppresses dreamful teenage girl and leads her to run away. Director

Iram HAQ

Bron in 1976, Norway. She was educated at Westerdals School of Communication in Oslo. She made and starred in her directorial debut, the short film Little Miss Eyeflap(2009), which screened at the Sundance Film Festival. Her feature film debut I Am Yours(2013) premiered at Toronto International Film Festival in 2013 and was selected as Norway’s official Oscar entry. The film has gone on to win a number of prizes at festivals around the world.
