Kurdish, Zagros is a shepherd living in Zagros Mountains. His daily life is happy and peaceful. However, his wife is hard to mingle with Kurdish tradition and her behavior make unnecessary rumors. She who can´t stand the pressure finally leaves for Brussels, Belgium and Zagros seeks out her. [#i_]Zagros[_i#] shows the tragedy of the wobbling couple by rumors, prejudice and the conflict between the tradition and modern society. The shepherd who comes to the city feels uncomfortable with the urban culture, the wife realizes the gap between two of them more. Eventually, their meeting couldn´t becomes the solution but reveals their reality clearly. This film is classical tragedy to show how the seeds of trouble can get bigger. The seeds are grown up with the difference as fertilizer, the couple become victims of irony. [LEE Sang-yong]
