In a small town in Denmark, there are girls in youth clubs that oppose the demands of the world. Living always with brightly colored leggings, Pikachu, and flipping off, they are not seeking romance but seeking their own position. The young wanderers, strong when they are together, reveal their vulnerable selves when they are alone. Editing is disruptive as it reflects the anxiety of the youth, and the color is loud. The majority of shorts alternate between video clips, internet photograms, and advertising images. Annika Berg created an innovative aesthetic based on the world of Instagram and the tumbler motif. She does not follow the rules of traditional linear narrative and moral, just as her funky girls. The film, a loose exploration of femininity, is an answer to what the film is in the new media age.
