It is a majestic epic of 7 hours and 47 minutes, revealing the false image of the United States, which is maintained by the formation and fall of the mythical world, the lies and the madness. [#i_]O.J.: Made in America[_i#] traces the rise and fall of the former professional foorball player ´O.J. Simpson´ who had been the best star of the America Football League, and who had leaped to the highest level of celebrity as a black man and has fallen down on the charges of first-degree murder. It scrutinizes from the portrait of the boy Simpson to the unfair trial process to maintain idol myth. The narrative focuses not on whether Simpson is innocent or not, but on how the trial formed a ´nation´ based on the issue of race. Touching on a fragile neuron that had made up a monster, its long runtime of about 8 hours points out the entropy of the myth. [JANG Byungwon]
