Acting instructor Jiyun teaches how to properly observe objects. While she looks like an authoritative philosopher during the class, she overlooks too many things in everyday life. She goes to her who ex-boyfriend who ditched her and his new girlfriend early in the movie, and later on, she constantly wanders between what she believes things would be like and the reality. She is even blamed by people in situations she thinks she is in control of. This film embraces very rare and unique tension in the screen, beholding, from a distance, self-pity completely fixed at the border between the main character’s concept filled with abstract thoughts and ordinary everyday life. This is a rare observation on human carefully showing tendency of hypocrisy done by the main character, and it creates humor by keeping distance from cynicism. [KIM Youngjin]
