  • Review

Already in the spotlight from her previous shorts, Laida Lertxundi looks back on her father’s radical political activities and turns it into a Western film. 025 Sunset Red is the director’s final autobiographical work. Exploring how to create feelings, the film discovers ways of practicing the past in the present. As the title implies, it feels like blood is overflowing throughout the film. The red filter used over landscapes is an attempt to form feelings in a new and different way [JANG Byungwon]
