Followed by Non-fiction Diary(2013) Jung Yoonsuk’s second documentary features a duo punk band ‘Bamseom Pirates’ that became another acquiescence to his work. Bamseom Pirates Seoul Infermo or Bamseom follows the footsteps of mocking the illusion of red baiting, youth generation crisis, violation of the National Security. The full use of reflective discourse presented in Non-Fiction Diary Jung Yoonsuk follows the footstep of the idolatrous duo punk band viewing different perspectives in the age of farmers of South Korea’s society. The fight to protect Hongdae region, FTA fight, disapproval of Naval base entrance in Gangjeong town, violation of the National Security’s ongoing journey is slipped away from this music documentary. More than anything, it is a piece that can be enjoyed in every level. [JANG Byungwon]
