During a summer, visitors come to a spa resort in Chile. Francisco and Julieta, a couple without a child, Isa, a pregnant woman travelling alone, and Rodrigo, a quiet gentleman enjoy their vacation. The life of hotel staffs is all the same. The film doesn’t show any particular character or event. Director describes a landscape of summer like pencil sketches. It is full of simple fragments like a maid learning how to fold towels, puppies sucking milk from mother, hands swollen in a bathtub, an old man giving food to puppies, and a lady cutting her foot while swimming. Comfort, quietness, laziness, and warmth arouse happiness and peace. The film shines with beautiful moments of summer; sunlight, swaying curtains, and cool breeze. (JANG Byungwon)
