Review

Francois Truffaut interviewed Alfred Hitchcock and published it with a title Hitchcock. Based on the book, Kent Jones takes a deep look at Truffaut’s world and also analyzes Hitchcock’s style. Jones shows the two 20th-century masters through interview records and actual settings. You may call this as the cinematic representation and expansion of the book. Important cinematic scenes can make audiences reconfirm the director’s critical sensitivity. The film is full of new insights and discoveries in many ways. Pure cinematic experience via a film!
