A musical film on the search of a village in the Tarn region France. The protagonists are villagers. The story is based on Dumas’ The Three Musketeers. The musketeers, the queen, and a cardinal watch TV and talk in living rooms. At the streets, pharmacies, and parties, their stories are delivered not by words but by songs. The film shows a bold and creative approach. After his film Julien, a coming-of-age story, the director finished a contemporary musical with the structure of play within a play. Most actors belong to an actual village choir. In the fiction and non-fiction or reality and imagination, the film arouses unique vibe through the scenery and sentiment of the village.
