Review

An Argentine story adapted from the real case of a family who committed serial killings. The family’s acts of kidnapping, asking a ransom, and killing lead the society to terror. A merciless killer father, sons who follow his orders, and mother and daughter who remain spectators. When one of sons gets married, family secrets are revealed. When cynical humor and cold story meet with the society of suppression and persecution, the cruelty of society comes to the surface. Winner of Silver Lion at the 2015 Venice Film Festival.
