An Argentine story adapted from the real case of a family who committed serial killings. The family’s acts of kidnapping, asking a ransom, and killing lead the society to terror. A merciless killer father, sons who follow his orders, and mother and daughter who remain spectators. When one of sons gets married, family secrets are revealed. When cynical humor and cold story meet with the society of suppression and persecution, the cruelty of society comes to the surface. Winner of Silver Lion at the 2015 Venice Film Festival. He served as the chair of the jury for Un Certain Regard in Cannes Film Festival 2014. The Clan?won?Silver Lion at 72nd Venice International Film Festival and screened at the Platform of the?Toronto International Film Festival.
Based on the true story of the Puccio family in the early eighties. It takes place in the final years of the Argentine military dictatorship and incipient return to democracy.
