Dane KOMLJEN, James LATTIMER

Dane Komljen, born in 1986, SFR Yugoslavia, is a Berlin based filmmaker. Studied film directing at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts, Serbia and contemporary art at Le Fresnoy, France. His short films; All Still Orbit(2016), Our Body(2015), A Surplus of Wind(2014) have been shown and awarded at the Cannes, Locarno IFF, Rotterdam IFF, FID Marseille and Sarajevo FF. All the Cities of the North(2016) is his first feature, showed at more than 50 festivals and was theatrically released in USA since its premiere at Locarno Film Festival. His latest short, Phantasiesätze, will be premiered at 19th Jeonju IFF.

James Lattimer, born in UK, is a film curator, critic and filmmaker who lives and works in Berlin. He started working at the Berlinale Forum in 2008 and joined as a member of selection committee in 2011. Lattimer worked on the screenplay of Our Body(2015) with Dane Komljen, also co-directed his first short film All Still Orbit(2016).
