Maya KOSA

Born in 1985, Geneva, Switzerland. She has a degree in cinema from the Haute École d’art et de design (HEAD) in Geneva. She directed her first short with Sergio DA COSTA, The Engineer and the Prosthetist, in 2010 and then, together, she co-directed Aux Bains de la reine (2012). Rio Corgo (2015), their first feature documentary, had a premiere at the Berlin International Film Festival 2016.

Sergio DA COSTA

Born in 1984, Lausanne. He graduates in cinema from HEAD in Geneva. There, he directed two shorts before starting to work with Maya KOSA: Interview with Almiro Vilar da Costa (2009) and Snack-bar Aquário (2010). Rio Corgo (2015), their first feature documentary, was awarded at Crossing Europe Film Festival and Doclisboa.
