Born in 1961, Japan. At the age of 17, he won a prize for his debut film Fantastic Party (1979). He spent 10 years cinemizing Hakuchi (1999), which received the Digital Award at the Venice International Film Festival. For Tezuka´s Barbara, he got an honor to be nominated for the best film in Tokyo International Film Festival.
