Saeed ROUSTAIE

Born in 1989, Tehran, Iran. He is a graduate of Filmmaking from Soureh Film College. Life and a Day (2016) is his first major cinematic work, which won awards at several film festivals. His works primarily focus on issues of social injustice, as well as his portrayals of women in Iranian society. For his second feature Just 6.5, he won the Best Director Award at the Tokyo International Film Festival 2019.
