Digital Video Editing with Adobe Premiere Pro: The Real-World Guide to Set Up and Workflow
Extended
The screen shows a scene from an average romance film that can be everywhere. For all the good cuts, a ghost shows up. The scared director asks for help from the “King of Editing” only to find that the ghost is not the only problems in the movie. Most of the scenes of the film shows computer screen with an editing software up and running. The dialogues between the director and the editor let the viewers burst into laughter or giggle. They later learn that the ghost shows up only when the scene is filled with cheesy romantic cliché, as if it cannot bear with it. The director has a hard time deciding what to do with the scenes, then sinister clouds of death come hovering around in the editing room. After the intense and lively shooting sessions end, directors go through so much agony and even self-deprecation in small editing rooms. This film is a fun and witty interpretation of such experience, turning a filmmaking process into a horror comedy movie. [NA Wonjeong]
