Review

Visitors of an art gallery confront an actor, staging the slow agony of Louis XIV until his final death. The film is a reflection on the visual meaning of the actor´s visage and the deep mystery of the historical figure. The three essential dimensions of this dying body, the actor who is aware of being filmed and Louis XIV are questioned and merged with sensuality and innocence.
