A young offender institution in the middle of the countryside, at the South of Chile. Every night the teenagers are attacked by recurrent nightmares. The film is an exploration about the link between their lives, their crimes and their nightmares, about the influence of a territory on their dreams.
In a youth detention center in southern Chile, juvenile criminals are having nightmares. They watch TV and joke around like normal kids but they are felons for robbery or murder. They are afraid of falling asleep since they may never wake up from their dream. The camera joins the boys and experiences the fear together. This film captures the relationship between crime, aboriginal culture and dreams by using orally transmitted format. The voices floating around the detention center narrate the nightmares and reveal the formless evil. [Sung MOON]
