Claudio GIOVANNESI

Born in 1978, Rome, Italy. He studied Modern Literature and enrolled in the Experimental Cinema Centre in Rome. His first feature film The House in the Clouds (2009) was awarded at the Brussels Film Festival. His works constantly received attention among prestigious film festivals and Fiore (2016) was previously screened at Jeonju IFF. Piranhas received the Silver Bear for Best Screenplay of Berlinale this year.
