Born in Namhae-gun, Gyeongsangnam-do, South Korea in 1965. He majored Photography at Changshin University. Since 2005, he has made documentaries for broadcasting including his major work 「A Wise Answer To a Silly Question」(2015). [#i_]Butterfly[_i#](2018) is his feature-length documentary debut.
