Short! Short! Short! 2011: A Time to Love
Memories of a Morning

Director_ Yang Ik-june

Korea 2011 40min DCP color shorts
Overview

Jincheol, in his thirties, is pretending to be a grown up but he has never been like. Minjeong seems like a grown up sometimes but she is a high school girl yet. Drinking Asahi beer and having jjamppong (Chinese-style noodles with vegetables and seafood) together, they get closer to each other.

Review

People ask me why I do have high school girls again in the film. They also wonder whether I am sexually obsessed with them. But I am not. I actually like women in 20’s and 30’s way much more. Though it could seem a not so eventful film, I hope the audiences laugh and talk a lot and get tempted by jjamppong while watching the film. Hope you enjoy a bowl of delicious jjamppong after the screening.
