Born in 1939. He was raised by Italian parents in the outskirt of New York. Received master’s degree of filming in UCLA. Coppola once made soft core pornography and learned practical works of filming from Roger Corman, the god-father of level B movies. In 1963, he created the first feature film Dementia 13 produced by Corman. After that, he laid solid ground to become the master director by directing The godfather, The godfather 2 and Apocalypse.
