A man, who has had a hard day, gets drunk and calls a designated driver. The driver who appears is a young woman around his age, whose face reflects her uneasy life. The man and the woman, each from their own tough lives, have come across each other during a drive along the ‘Riverside Expressway’. As the man sobers, he tries to talk with her, including some sexually harassing words, but she doesn’t reply at all. The man stops the car, throws up, and then acts in a drunken manner again. She finally loses her temper and explodes. People, in various societal positions, all have their own worries and burdens, like the man and the woman who happened to meet on the ‘Riverside Expressway’. The beginning of the film focuses on the viewpoint and emotion of the drunken man. As the narrative goes on, however, the viewpoint of the film moves to the woman, ultimately attending to the communication between the two people. The depression and rage of people from muddled lives are well depicted against the scene and atmosphere of the ‘Riverside Expressway’.
