A poet Shu, goes on a business trip to the Xinjiang Uyghur region. This film is about Shu finishing 16poems while he passes through mountains, forests, lakes and the most desolated area of China.

Born in 1975, Urumqi, China. He graduated from the Beijing Film Academy. He is one of the most widely recognized directors from China´s New Generation filmmakers and multi-media artists. Poet on a Business Trip won the Grand Prize for International Competition at the JEONJU IFF 2015.
