The 18th Jeonju International Film Festival announced total of 14 juries for main competition section.
Juries for ‘International Competition’ are Jean-Pierre REHM, the director of the International Film Festival of Marseille, Ildiko ENYEDI, who directed On Body and Soul, the opening film of the 18th Jeonju IFF and won the Golden Bear in Berlin International Film Festival, French director Dominique CABRERA, PARK Jinpyo who directed Voice of A Murder, and actress HA Jiwon who starred in Haeundae.
For ‘Korean Competition’, Jacob WONG, the curator of the Hong Kong International Film Festival, Cecilia BARRIONUEVO, a programmer of Mar de Plata International Film Festival, and director SONG Haeseong who directed Failan will be the juries.
Juries for ‘Korean Competition for Shorts’ are Jukka-Pekka LAAKSO, who are the utive director of Tampere International Film Festival, KIM Jongkwan who won FIPRESCI Award at the 38th Moscow International Film Festival with his film Worst Woman, and JUNG Eunchae of the film The King and Nobody’s Daughter Haewon.
Also juries for ‘NETPAC Award’ are HAN Changho, the film critic who is currently writing film reviews at various media including Cine 21, Alka SADAT, the documentary director who have won at the various film festivals, and JEON Hyejeong, the utive director of the London Asian Film Festival. NETPAC award is given to the best Korean feature film screened in Korea Cinemascape by NETPAC.
With its slogan ‘Outlet for Cinematic Expression’, the 18th Jeonju International Film Festival will kick off on April 27 in Cinema Street.
