As of today, it has more than 9 million subscribers and is accessible through different types of devices including computers, smartphones, smart TVs, and OTT set-top boxes, among others.

Festival Director LEE Joondong mentioned that, “JEONJU IFF made a decision to collaborate with wavve for the following two reasons. First, they wanted to provide the audience quality virtual festival experience that is highly similar to an off-line film festival. Thus, they ensured that audience can choose to pay admission for the titles that they want to watch.” He also said another priority was security. “One of the biggest concerns of the directors and filmmakers was security and copyright issues. As a way to address such concerns, JEONJU IFF chose a platform that provides high quality content security services.”

Wavve further explained, “We have implemented strong security policies based on multi-DRM. In case a copyright violation occurs, we have technologies to track down device and user logs. We will legally respond to any attempts to abuse copyright law.”

Online streaming of JEONJU IFF 2020 is serviced in South Korea. Those who would like to watch the titles can visit the wavve’s website and sign up to membership online.
